I've 'dropped out' of the Lake Erie Loop. We have closing on a house we bought that Friday - kills that. 2010 will have the Cannonball, so that leaves 2011 for the Lake Erie Loop. Maybe by then they will be more accepting of 250cc Scooters (doubtful).
I will be riding up to Laconia New Hampshire in July for Lisa's family reunion. It's about 400 miles each way. Lisa want's to ride on the back, her longest day is 220.
We (Lisa, Matt/TA) recently road a scenic loop around the Chesapeake Bay, overnight in Baltimore and a scenic ride home. Here are some excellent roads from Baltimore into Pennsylvania.

I ended up purchasing the Nolan N-Com 42e Helmet I was looking at during Bike Week. I wish I had purchased it earlier. Not sure if that is "the one" for the 2010 Cannonball, if another helmet emerges with similar "built in" technology, I may switch. You're stuck with the Nolan and J&M electronics on the 42e - I've tried the J&M stuff and so far not at all impressed.
Hopefully the Cannonball stuff continues to develop and finalize in the next few weeks.
