This blog began when I road in the 2008 Scooter Cannonball Run, a coast to coast endurance event held every two years. I've continued using it for other long distance touring trips on the scooter.
Congratulations to all who took part in Scooter Cannonball 2008. Wow!! What an achievement, ten days coast to coast on SCOOTERS! Take that cars! It was a pleasure to meet many of you in St Louis. If any of you find yourselves in St Louis again, stop by or call Vespa St Louis!
Congratulations to everyone who "Made It" to the finish line ! Thanks to Mr. David B. (feb31st) ! I've been enjoying this blog; hoping to see more pictures, and report of the last day and the celebrations.

We're riding from Allentown, PA to Compton, NH for the 4th of July. Lisa & I are taking the Vespa (GTS250) and Matt and T/A are riding their Harley. We're staying at Lisa's Aunts (T/A's Sisters) Inn in NH.
We leave Wednesday night with an overnight in the Catskills, arrive at the Inn Thursday afternoon and return home on Sunday/Monday.
I am road down to Bike Week in Daytona Florida this March. I'll be spent the week riding with Jim T. from the Cannonball Run before returning to Pennsylvania via Washington DC.
Completed: Scooter Cannonball Run
The Scooter Cannonball Run is a coast to coast endurance event traveling over 3600 miles for scooters up to 250cc. It takes place every 2 years. It is a time/distance rally where points are awarded based on miles completed and the ability to maintain the standard pace.
The 2008 Scooter Cannonball loosely follows Highway 50 ("The Loneliest Road in America) from San Francisco California to Ocean City Maryland.
